IRON NEST Leaderboards

Save and troubleshoot IRON NEST Challenge scores, Chill totals, Steam leaderboard views, and optional Discord account linking on public version 1.0.

IRON NEST leaderboards record completed Challenge performance, not merely fired shots. According to the developer FAQ, standard Challenge keeps the highest correctly completed single-run score, while Chill uses cumulative confirmed kills. The normal newspaper dismissal is part of saving the result.

Game: IRON NEST: Heavy Turret Simulator. Scope: Base-game AppID 2950790, Windows/Steam public 1.0, checked 2026-08-09. Online rankings and account-link services can change; current in-game screens remain authoritative.

Complete the save boundary

Finish the mission correctly, wait for the result, read and dismiss the newspaper, and allow the transition. Do not force-close after impact. A score visible briefly before correct completion may not be eligible.

Capture Challenge type, displayed score, run outcome, date, patch, and local rank before starting another run. This record distinguishes a save problem from a later leaderboard refresh.

Highest run versus cumulative total

For standard Challenge, a lower later score should not replace the recorded highest score under the FAQ’s checked rule. For Chill, confirmed kills accumulate. Keep separate expectations and screenshots.

If the wrong value appears, verify which mode was played and which tab is open. Do not compare a Chill total with a standard run score or infer a reset from two different leaderboards.

Read the available views

The FAQ describes Top 20, the player’s own entry, search, and a map GIF/view in the linked leaderboard experience. Interfaces can change, so follow the current labels. An account may appear outside Top 20 and still have a saved personal entry.

Ties are described as favoring the earliest score. A later equal result may therefore leave rank unchanged even though it saved correctly.

Optional Discord linking

The game supports linking for community leaderboard integration. PATCH 1.0 (1558) improved Discord account-linking code generation/issues. Generate a fresh code only through the current game/interface and submit it only to the official linked destination.

This is not a promo or redemption code. Never share Steam credentials, authentication tokens, or recovery codes. Verify the destination through the Store-listed official gateway or current in-game instruction.

Diagnose a missing score

Check: correct completion; newspaper dismissed; Steam online; selected mode and tab; account identity; link state if viewing the community integration; and current public patch. Wait for a normal refresh and restart Steam/game before repeating a valuable run.

If the local result exists but the online entry does not, capture both. If neither exists, focus on completion and save transition. Avoid deleting a profile; PATCH 1.0 (1558) specifically addressed crash-related save corruption and mission-entry failure, so update and verify files first.

Improve rank with controlled comparisons

Establish a reproducible clean run. Then vary one displayed performance factor—accuracy, time, expenditure, assistance, or another current result field. Exact weights should come from comparable runs, not from watching rank change against other players.

Generated scenarios can differ, so record their visible conditions. The Challenge Missions guide covers a score notebook and unlock tracking.

Report fairly

Include public patch, Challenge type, score, completion state, newspaper state, Steam status, local view, online view, and whether optional linking was used. Redact account identifiers beyond what the public leaderboard already displays.

Do not accuse another score of cheating from rank alone. Report technical evidence through the official channel and let the service owner inspect it.

Keep a synchronization receipt

Save one screenshot of the local result and another of the refreshed personal leaderboard entry, with time and mode. For Chill, include before/after cumulative total; for standard Challenge, include the prior best. This pair demonstrates whether the issue occurred during local completion, upload/linking, or ranking display without exposing credentials.

If the entry later changes, compare the personal view and mode rules before assuming data loss. A higher standard score can replace an earlier best, while Chill adds confirmed kills; a rank can also move as other players submit results. Preserve score and rank as separate fields so normal competition is not reported as synchronization failure.
