Last checked: 2026-08-08 against the official Steam News feed and Community announcements for AppID 2950790. The default timeline covers the Windows base-game public branch. Demo 4300500, Playtest/Beta 4300490, and testing branches are excluded unless explicitly labeled.

Latest public status

Public version 1.0 is a full release, not Early Access. The Store release date is 2026-08-06, and the developer FAQ explicitly describes the release as full 1.0. The Store lists Windows support; Steam Deck compatibility is documented through a separate official verification announcement and does not create a native Linux build.

As of this checkpoint, PATCH 1.0 (1558) is the latest official base-game announcement in the News feed. A third-party database may show a newer testing-branch BuildID, but that is not evidence that ordinary players received those changes. Public guides should change when the official public patch or a reproducible public-build observation supports the change.

What PATCH 1.0 (1558) changed

The second post-launch patch focused on save recovery, mission entry, lingering turret state, visual/state bugs, mouse input, account linking, and comfort. Its most important support change is the explicit fix for save-file corruption and failure to enter missions after a crash. Players with that symptom should update and verify files before deleting any profile.

The patch also fixed elevation and the elevation-linkage lever not resetting after leaving a mission following a shot; cat visual/carry state problems; duplicated patron-name fragments; and engine-control lights. It improved cases where the mouse could not move after loading the main menu or a mission and improved Discord account-link code generation/issues. It added a Motion Blur toggle for screen-shake events.

The Discord code in this patch is an account-linking code for leaderboard/community integration. It is not a promo, gift, or redemption code. That distinction is why this site’s primary navigation does not include a Codes section.

What PATCH 1.0 (1547) changed

The first post-launch patch fixed Czech and French localization errors that broke mission intelligence. It also fixed a cat-drop tooltip that could remain visible, an interaction issue involving the coffee machine when returning to the main menu, and a pause-menu submit button that failed in certain scenarios.

For Campaign documentation, the significant fix is the incorrect or duplicate newspaper and record at the end of High Tide. A player on an old build may encounter a result that a current walkthrough cannot reproduce. Update before treating that mismatch as a hidden ending or alternate objective.

PATCH 1547 did not publish a new public semantic version beyond 1.0. It should be cited by its full official title and date.

This separation matters because June Demo patch notes describe features and performance before the August base-game release. They can explain history, but they cannot update a public 1.0 answer.

Roadmap is not a patch note

The launch announcement promises continued work and names more content, missions, skirmish modes, features, music, eventual multiplayer, and a proper expansion. The developer FAQ adds that multiplayer for the base game is planned and separately discusses a future standalone shared-platform co-op title. Workshop support is under serious consideration, while console and VR work follow the PC priority.

None of those statements supplies a public release date or shipped implementation. Keep roadmap items in a status section, not in the “added” list. When a feature ships, require an official public announcement or current Store/build evidence and update the relevant evergreen page.

What to recheck after each patch

For a new official patch, record title, date, AppID, branch, public version label, platform, and source URL. Map each change to the one canonical guide it affects: ballistics/elevation, campaign missions, shell or requisition behavior, medals/results, modes/leaderboards, or support/input/saves. Update the evergreen answer rather than copying the same workaround into multiple patch pages.

If patch notes mention a symptom without a complete solution, keep the support advice conservative. If the official title contains a number, preserve it exactly and avoid turning it into a semantic version or BuildID.

Update FAQ

What is the latest IRON NEST update?

At the 2026-08-08 check, the latest official public announcement is PATCH 1.0 (1558), dated 2026-08-08.

Is IRON NEST still in Early Access?

No. The base game launched as a full 1.0 release on 2026-08-06.

Did multiplayer launch with version 1.0?

No. Public 1.0 is single-player. Multiplayer is a roadmap commitment without a published implementation date in the checked FAQ.

Why are there no separate update child pages?

The three current entries fit one substantial, dated public-branch timeline. Separate thin pages would duplicate the same product and scope notes. This hub remains a direct navigation link with no empty dropdown or zero-page metric.
