Use the current Campaign menu, teleprinter, or progression presentation to locate White Shells. Do not assume its placement solely from achievement sorting. Record prerequisites and patch if it appears after a branch or late operation.

Read “white shells” as a label, not a solution
The title might refer to ammunition, appearance, narrative, location, or another mission concept. Wait for the dispatch and live shell descriptions. Do not choose smoke, star, leaflet, or chemical ammunition based only on the color word.
Write active objective effect and target class before requisition. Protect friendlies and narrative context.
Build a normal traceable shot
Plot evidence from correct origins, choose target, measure from the Nest, calculate for actual shell/powder, and assign a barrel. The operation’s unusual achievement presentation does not alter basic ballistics.
When new instructions arrive, void the old card. Wait for recognition after each impact and keep any narrative choice in a separate campaign log.
Capture every result layer
At completion, record the in-game operation result, all medal rows, newspaper, city outcome if present, and Steam notification. The absence of a public completion achievement does not mean the operation failed to save.
Dismiss the newspaper and allow the normal transition. Keep screenshot dates and public patch with any achievement discrepancy.
Verify Pride of Castile
The official description proves that all White Shells medals can produce this gold achievement. It does not expose the component conditions. Begin with a normal completion, then isolate accuracy, assistance, resource use, time, shot count, ammunition effects, and choices.
Reproduce a gold result and distinguish a sufficient route from necessary steps. A current community guide can corroborate but should not replace the live medal panel.
Avoid false achievement arithmetic
The checked official list totals 33: fourteen matching completion achievements, fifteen mission-gold achievements, and four city outcomes. Do not add a fabricated White Shells completion award to make the pairs visually symmetric.
If Steam later adds or changes an achievement, update from the official list and record the date rather than rewriting historical evidence silently.
Troubleshoot access or recognition
Check current campaign progression, unread newspapers, branch state, and patch. After a crash, install PATCH 1.0 (1558) or later public content and verify files before changing saves.

If the campaign shows a completion record but Steam only awards Pride of Castile after gold, that is compatible with the current evidence. It is not proof of a bug. For player reports, ask whether the mission completed in game, whether all medals showed gold, whether Pride of Castile unlocked, and whether Steam was online.
